We are pleased to announce that two new publications by Dr Olga Solovyeva have been released: the edited volume Belarus—Faces of Resistance (Academic Studies Press, 2025), devoted to contemporary forms of resistance in Belarus, and the chapter ‘After the Freeze and the Thaw: Kawabata Yasunari's Nobel Prize and the Soviet Rediscovery of Japan’ in the book Literary and Artistic Japan Behind the Iron Curtain (Routledge, 2025), analysing the reception of Japanese literature in the USSR.
Dr Francesco Trupia's monograph Islamophobia in European Cities: Solidarities, Responses and Dilemmas for Young Balkan Muslims (Routledge, 2024), published as part of the NCN project: Reakcje obywatelskie i dylematy związane z tożsamością kulturową w drugim pokoleniu bałkańskich muzułmanów w czasach demokracji nieliberalnej
